About Save the Children

Save the Children has been working in Lebanon since 1953 and transitioned to Save the Children International in 2012. For more than six decades, Save the Children has used rights-based approaches to increase access for children, adolescents and youths to quality education, and to strengthen child participation and protection at the family, school and community levels. Save the Children supports families to meet their basic needs, including adequate shelter, and facilitates market driven livelihoods opportunities for youth and caregivers. Save the Children empowers civil society in Lebanon in times of peace and conflict to respond to the needs of all children.

Save the Children Lebanon launched a social media campaign to raise awareness around the ongoing education crisis in Lebanon. The campaign focused on spreading key facts, highlighting the impact on children and communities, and encouraging public advocacy for equal access to quality education.

The main challenge was to deliver emotionally impactful and fact-driven content in a visually cohesive manner that could capture attention on fast-scrolling platforms. The tone needed to balance urgency with hope, all while remaining consistent with Save the Children’s brand identity and values.

Leoceros created a series of engaging posts were designed using dynamic layouts, bold typography, and authentic imagery of children and classrooms. The campaign utilized storytelling, statistics, and calls to action to spark awareness and drive advocacy. Bilingual content (Arabic and English) ensured accessibility and maximized audience reach across demographics.

The campaign achieved high engagement across social media channels, with increased shares, comments, and follower growth. It succeeded in bringing attention to the education crisis, empowering the public to advocate for children’s rights, and reinforcing Save the Children’s position as a key voice for educational equity in Lebanon.
